Would you like to become a part of our team as a volunteer at Kunstbok Oslo?

Our second edition takes place at the legendary Kunstnernes Hus, in Wergelandsveien 17, by the Royal Palace, 15-16 November, 2025.

We are looking for volunteers who likes books, art and people. There will be a social pree-meeting with training provided for volunteers and an opening party for all involved. We mainly communicate in Norwegian, but other languages is also great. A Volunteer Certificate will be provided when you are done, describing your assignments.

The assignments we would love some help with are: Guarding tables when the exhibitors needs a break, setting up/rigging sales tables in advance, be welcoming to the public visiting the fair, sales, take care of closed refreshment area for exhibitors and brew coffee/tea, assist in the childrens room, assist with microphones and provide fresh drinking water during the seminar and packing down the tables and chairs when we are finnished.

Kunstnernes Hus is the location for Kunstbok Oslo 2025

Kunstnernes Hus becomes collaborative partner and location for Kunstbok Oslo, taking place november 15-16, 2025. We look forward to welcoming the public and to fill this remarkable and historic house with art books, literature, zines, artists, authors, graphic designers and a seminar combined with the exhibitions at Kunstnernes Hus. We are also planning a small and fun program for kids who are always welcome to attend our festival!

The seminar is curated by Timotheus Vermeulen and Nicholas Norton and will take place in the cinema.

Kunstbok Oslo is arranged with the kind support of KORO - Public Art Norway, Kulturrådet/The Arts Council and Bildende Kunstneres Hjelpefond, 5% avgiften/The Artists Relief Fund.

The very first (test) edition of Kunstbok Oslo took place November 16. - 17. in Keysers gate 1. The space was rented from UKS - Unge Kunstneres Samfund, one of Norways oldest artist unions and exhibition spaces.

We are thrilled that as much as 4000 people visited us during the weekend and the preparations for a second edition has already started and will take place 15. - 16. November, 2025. Welcome back!

News from KUNSTBOK OSLO

Kunstbok Oslo is an Art Book Fair in Oslo, Norway, as well as an artist book webshop. Our first edition took place November 16-17, 2024, from 11.00-17.00 in Keysersgate 1. normally housing Unge Kunstneres Samfund.

The public discovered artist books, zines, prints, cartoons, monographies and literature by artists and publishing houses. Entrance was free and we also offered a program from the stage and a small café. The publications were for sale and you will also be able to buy most of them in our online webshop.
